# Exterior Modifications

#### Almost all exterior modifications must be approved by the Architecture Review Board

This includes, but is not limited to the addition, modification, or removal of:

- Driveways
- Fences
- Front Landscaping
- In Ground Pools
- Roofing
- Street Trees
- Sheds
- Siding (color/style)
- Solar Panels
- Windows

### Process

- Download a copy of the [Application for Exterior Modification](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CibiJnVicE8RviNRRp7iKxJam62Pui7N/view?usp=drive_link)
- The instructions and requirements are listed in the document - please follow closely. You must follow all HOA bylaws, Township/County zoning laws and obtain permits if required
- Submit to <architecture@villageatalumcreek.org>

### Exceptions

You do not need to submit an application to replace an invisible fence (pet containment), or your mailbox - since that is a standardized design (refer to the mailbox policy [here](https://www.villageatalumcreek.org/policies/mailbox-policy))
